Mobilebackups. Drive?? What is it?

Hello All,

I just upgraded Lion and it went pretty smoothly. I've noticed my macbook pro has mounted a new "Mobilebackups" drive. It says about 150GB is used. I wanted to know what this is because I already had Time Machine set up before. Where is this space coming from because both my drives in my laptop are reporting the correct amount of used space.
