mobileme email

hi guys, ive read a few threads on this, but cant find the answer im after...

is there a technical "theres no way its possible" reason that mobileme wont let you use "yourname@mydomain.com" email addresses.

im not a mechanic, i just drive the mac so it seems disapointing to me.

no it wont do that because apple only have @mac, and now @me, you could set up your own domain and resirect and you can also get .mac / mobile me to host your domain but as far as im aware they can only offer you their email extention, even if they host your own domain.
