mobileme from a different email issue

Just upgraded to the 4s from the 4. Did a restore backup but now I have an issue. I use various emails going into mobileme and they all get pushed to the phone. I had it set up so when I sent an email it looked like it was from my main (non mobileme) accout, but now that does not seem to be working.

In short how do I set it up in OIS5 so that my mobileme emails look like the come from my other email account and not mobileme as I don;t use it!

From what I can tell, you can't anymore.

I converted over to Google Apps with my custom domain for mail/contacts/calendar syncing with iOS5 due to how they stripped down my @me.com account.

Apple slowly pushing me out of their ecosystem.

Really? I thought I was just doing something wrong! Oh no. I use google for my personal domains, so am I best to just set them up direct on my phone now? Do they push?

They push if you serup in ios as exchange rather than gmail. See here:
