Mobileme Help Please

I am considering purchasing mobileme and I have a few questions....

1. If I add an event on my imac at home in ical does it push it to my powerbook and iphone? Or do I need to create the event in the calendar at me.com?

2. How do you set up mobileme to push to all your devices?

3. If my calendars and email folders differ slightly from my home computer to my powerbook which ones will get pushed to the server? If I start initially with my imac will it push and erase the folders and calendars i've created on my powerbook?

It will push no matter what device you create it on.

Set your macs to sync with MobileMe, and set up your MobileMe account on your iPhone to sync.

No idea, we'll have to see.

One last question

Thank you for the reply. I have one last question.

I can respond to emails without using @me.com correct? I want to use my domain name email as well as my gmail. I can still do this and reply on my phone from those email addresses correct? I never have to use the @me.com address or do I?
