MobileMe not working?

I imagine it has a lot to do with tons of people trying out "Find my iPhone", but I'm trying to add my MobileMe account to my iPhone and every time it fails. It first gives me a prompt saying "Cannot connect using SSL. Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?" After tapping "Yes", it gives me another prompt that says "MobileMe account verification failed. The MobileMe server "mail.me.com" is not responding."

Is there anything I should do, or do I need to wait it out?
