I was going to post this in the MobileMe section but as this pertains to more than just MobileMe I thought I'd post it here.

MobileMe on Windows is very limited. For example, iDisk access is either via a browser or creating a network drive. This doesn't allow for automatic syncing of user documents as in OS X. Web hosting is possible via FTP, but without a decent WYSIWYG program such as iWeb, there isn't much for the average consumer to maintain a website. As well, syncing with Office 2007 or 2010 is tricky as calendars don't translate well between iOS devices and Office.

Does anyone know of a third party application for Windows that allows iDisk syncing and improved/better conduits for syncing contacts/calendars/email? I have a few clients who need those benefits and it's a shame there isn't a solution.

Why not Exchange Server? MobileMe really isn't a product that helps Windows users, as you've experienced.

Exchange Server works with all kinds of stuff, including mobile devices.

If the problem is that you can't host a server, then try Google Apps.

I wouldn't use MobileMe for cloud stuff if you have Windows users.
