hello, i've been accessing gmail from an iphone for almoat a week now.
I always got to the standard desktop version, the same one you get
when you use a desktop browser. However as of today google seems to be
forcing the mobile version... If i click on Classic view all I get is
the HTML view but i don't want thay either. I've even been able to
create new gmail accounts on tbe move but now i get asked to get to a
computer.

Anyone knows a wat round this new limitation?
i certainly wasn't thinking about mobile gmail when Apple announced
the ipod/iphone to browse the "real web" hehe.

Thanks

This isn't an Apple issue, it's done on Gmail's side. Try sending Gmail some feedback. They seem to be real responsive to feedback. I agree with you that the sites should treat the iPHone as a real full blown browser... but it isn't until we get flash.
