Modding keyboard dock for ipad 3

I have a spare ipad keyboard dock (that has the old type connector) that i would like to use with my ipad3, with Lightning connector. I want to try to mod my dock for ipad3, but decided to ask here before trying to peel out the bottom rubber.

Anyone done a modification yet?
