modding your cases and warranties?

I really enjoy my incipio ngp except that a few of my headphones can't fit in the recessed headphone jack. I wanna cut away some of it using an exacto knife or something but would this void the warranty?

Absolutely yes. Don't do it if you plan on maybe returning the case.

well it's been over 15 days so I can't return it to walmart. Not too familar with TPU cases. How do they hold up like a year or 2 after purchase?
