MODEL MD329LL/A & MC706LL/A 3rd Gen

I am under the impression that these 3rd Gen Models are Lighting connections, but I see a lot of these Models with the 30 pin connector. Am I incorrect?

The third iPad which is also the new iPad is a 30 pin connector. The fourth iPad is the lightning connector

Thank you and this unit should be recognizable by the little dot at the top which I assume is the Retina technology?

What dot? The retina is the screen so I'm not sure about the dot. There's a camera & sensor to determine ambient light on the front. Afaik that is.

Must be what you are discribing. I have yet to see any iPad.... I know, I know.... I hope to get an eye on one soon.
