Please advise what is the model version m=number of most up to date MacBook Pro Retina - just got a refurbished one and when it arrived it was in unopened package i.e. new to all intents as previous refurbished models were always in plain white boxes. It was full spec - 16GB with 1TB disc says A1502 on
box

Is there some reason that you'd think it isn't the current model?

That's entirely possible. Or Apple just has extra stock and they're moving it just because. Its hard to say.

FYI, all 13" retina MacBook pros since mid 2014 have been model A1502.
