I think it looks realistic, except the in-screen home button I would expect to be in the center (as with Touch ID).

I think that looks nice. At least some bezel. A phone with no bezel and wrap around screen, how would you hold it? How would you put a case on it to protect it? Yeah, no. This mockup is the best I've seen.

Beautiful work. I wish Apple would deviate from the predictable once in a while and come up with something extraordinary like this. Instead we'll probably have to settle for 5% less bezel and .5mm less thickness.

He said he'd personally move it. I said I'd expect it moved. His is style. Mine is Apple. Different.
I'm sorry, but you misunderstood. You must not have read the descriptions of the linked rendering.

Apple most likely waiting for Samsung release to decide on one of their prototypes. After 3 years of the same hardware all I can say is I'm hopefull they realize people want more

Historically, it's been vice versa.

Regardless, it's as you've said elsewhere. Devices innovation is more evolutionary than revolutionary at this stage in the game. Just the way it is.

Does anyone know what the background in these mockups is? The dark one with snowy looking mountains.

To me everything look OK except the touch ID button.

I know it said it shall be able to move around but probably it shall be in center by default to look steady and nice.

Also I hope Apple can reduce the size on certain design new item line Apple Music, TV, the widget date. All those is way too big! Please smaller it in iOS 11.

You clearly never addressed the rendering...

and my point still stands. The technology to read a fingerprint needs to be in a single designated area. The center.

I agree that it would be a little akward to have it anywhere but the center, and Apple is not one to give users many choices, so if Apple did anything like this I'm sure they would center it and not give users the option to move it.
