I received my blue wallet today. Long story short, I really like it and don’t plan to use the Apple wallet any longer.
As
@Pug72 mentioned, it is not a stronger hold than the Apple wallet. But, IMO it is very similar to the Apple wallet as neither really get a tight hold. The one positive of the Moft over the Apple is the Moft aligns itself perfectly while the Apple can swivel on the bottom. Not sure if I'm explaining this properly but if you push on the side bottom of the Apple wallet, it will stay attached on top but the bottom will slide over. Sometimes when I remove my phone from my pocket the Apple wallet isn't straight. (OCD alert) The Moft is either aligned straight or not connected. The hold is not secure, but this is a MagSafe problem IMO. Even the Apple charging puck isn't super strong.
It works well with 3 cards inside. The depth of the wallet, again IMO, is only slightly more than Apple's. Barely. I shot some pics showing both. The Moft has 3 cards inside and the Apple has 0. My opinion is the difference is so minimal as to not be an issue.
The main reason I wanted this is for the stand function as I use my iPhone this way every single day. It is superb as
@Pug72 said. In landscape or portrait it is solid.
I was hopeful that I could use it as a grip. You won’t be able to walk around holding your phone using this as a grip but when sitting down or taking a photo I think it works well. It does detach easily from the phone so again, not for moving around but it does work. I don’t think any company will be able to make a MagSafe grip that is secure, even PopSockets. The MagSafe magnets in the 12 series phones and cases just aren't strong enough and not designed for this. Hopefully I am wrong.
Anyways, that's my review. Here are some photos.
