Looks pretty cool. I like the extra utility of the stand. I'm still holding off on these as I think it will be a PITA to have to take the wallet off every time I want to pop my phone on my car charger.

Already bought first thing and waiting patiently for it.
I figure if I'm ok with sticking a wallet attachment to my phone then why not have one that is a stand too? :)

I saw this too this morning. I did not order the Apple Wallet as I have no need for it. I just tought I give the Moft a try and ordered a blue one. The Stand and Magsafe compatibility is very interesting.

I ordered a blue one too. hope they ship soon. I think it might also work as a nice grip. I get why they don’t advertise it as a grip, because the MagSafe connection in general is not really strong enough. To be walking around and holding any MagSafe item, it will come loose. I’m not sure how PopSockets will advertise their grips when they come out. But when sitting down or not walking around, I still find having a grip is preferable. To me it looks like this will be perfect for that as well as a stand. Even in their FAQ they mention it will work as a grip, just not super secure. We’ll see. I use a stand pretty much everyday with my 12 Pro so having one sort of built in is going to be great. Looking forward to it. I wonder when they will ship. They had dates listed for the gray and brown ones. Does that mean blue and black are ready to ship? Hope so.

BTW I made a MagSafe grip out of a MagSafe charger puck and a ohsnap grip. It works well but I think this wallet might be better.

Edit: I just checked the site again and they say shipping starts Dec 26. Earlier today they had different dates for certain colors.

I think I like the idea of this but judging by the pictures on the website it seems like it would be kind of flimsy. The materials look cheap. The idea of using it has a grip is probably a bad idea too, it won't have enough strength to do that. I will wait for reviews...

Mine came today. It actually looks ok, the black matches with the Apple black leather case but doesn't have as much sheen. Holds three cards with no problems sliding out. The stand, the main reason I bought it, is fantastic. Works well in either orientation.
It's obviously thicker than the Apple Wallet and with three cards in is pretty chunky.
The magnet strength isn't as strong as the Apple Wallet but does the job.

So with owning this Moft wallet stand and the Apple Wallet which will I use?

I'm just going to use the Moft at home without cards in as it's thin enough not to make holding the phone with it closed awkward. The stand will come in handy at times.

The Apple Wallet I'll snap on when going out as it is more secure and is still pretty minimal with three cards in.

Don't think I'd recommend the Moft over the Apple Wallet if I had to choose one, but they definitely have their own pros & cons.

You'd be happy with the Moft if the Apple Wallet cost is more than you'd like to spend but I'd be a little wary of the weaker magnet strength, something I find just right on the Apple Wallet.

That's odd. They said "The magnet and material hold a bit more securely than Apple's does." in this review.

It's definitely not stronger than the AW but due to the design it comes away a lot easier, especially with cards in due to not being flush.
And when you open the stand it comes away very easy, you definitely wouldn't want to dangle the phone by the open stand as little movement will cause the phone to drop off.
This is more to do with the way the design works more than the strength of the magnet. You now have a 'handle' that takes little effort to pull it off as opposed to the flat fit of the AW that needs significant pull with fingernails. With no cards in and stand shut it is stuck on almost as well as the AW.

Though a stronger magnet would have solved this. Maybe there is a limit to the strength allowed because of the phone internals or limit to RFID materials.

Was $5 delivery and using 10% discount code NEW10 came to $36.50 in total.

Exchange rate was £1-$1.28 when I ordered so came to £28.41 for me, probably a smidge cheaper today.

did any of you get the magnetic sticky pads? if so, do they work without the wallet on the phone?

I received my blue wallet today. Long story short, I really like it and don’t plan to use the Apple wallet any longer.

As @Pug72 mentioned, it is not a stronger hold than the Apple wallet. But, IMO it is very similar to the Apple wallet as neither really get a tight hold. The one positive of the Moft over the Apple is the Moft aligns itself perfectly while the Apple can swivel on the bottom. Not sure if I'm explaining this properly but if you push on the side bottom of the Apple wallet, it will stay attached on top but the bottom will slide over. Sometimes when I remove my phone from my pocket the Apple wallet isn't straight. (OCD alert) The Moft is either aligned straight or not connected. The hold is not secure, but this is a MagSafe problem IMO. Even the Apple charging puck isn't super strong.

It works well with 3 cards inside. The depth of the wallet, again IMO, is only slightly more than Apple's. Barely. I shot some pics showing both. The Moft has 3 cards inside and the Apple has 0. My opinion is the difference is so minimal as to not be an issue.

The main reason I wanted this is for the stand function as I use my iPhone this way every single day. It is superb as @Pug72 said. In landscape or portrait it is solid.

I was hopeful that I could use it as a grip. You won’t be able to walk around holding your phone using this as a grip but when sitting down or taking a photo I think it works well. It does detach easily from the phone so again, not for moving around but it does work. I don’t think any company will be able to make a MagSafe grip that is secure, even PopSockets. The MagSafe magnets in the 12 series phones and cases just aren't strong enough and not designed for this. Hopefully I am wrong.

Anyways, that's my review. Here are some photos.

Did you get the magnetic pads with it? Any luck sticking them into things?

I ordered Dec 11th and had no shipping information. Contacted Moft - have to say the answer I got back today was sort of BS that mine would ship next week. This was not a kickstarter or Indigogo. It should not be 25 days between order and shipment Without any update. Not pleased.

Oh my gosh, same here! I was told yesterday that it would ship within the next day or two. Hint, the website now says shipping in early Jan so I wouldn’t get my hopes up for anything they say at this point. I smell a supply/demand issue and where ever these are produced must be facing a shipping delay

i never received a notification that mine shipped. but if you look up your order status you might see a tracking number. that was my case. for over a week usps said label printed waiting for package. then it just showed up. i think they ship from china to distribution center. then to us.

My order status still says it hasn’t shipped :( I ordered on the 15th too.
