So this message popped up when I plugged in the charger this morning.

Moisture detected in the lightening port?

Brand new iphone 11 and it hasn’t been anywhere near any water or even moisture.

I plugged it into my old charger for iPhone 7. I assume it isn’t charger specific. Anyone had this before?

I live in the UK where the temperature is very stable and no moisture in the room. The phone was on carpet on the landing area. So I’m confused as to how this happened

Maybe a captor that needed to be calibrated or it went somewhere cold while traveling. Call Apple if it happens again.

Condensation would be my guess.

Otherwise, I would call it a fluke and not worry about it unless it happens again.
