Hi all,

My MacBook Pro is running on 10.14.2.
Software update doesn't find 10.14.4 but does on my iMac where it's all installed successfully.

I've downloaded the latest version of the full Mojave from the App Store and tried to install it but my disk appears to be formatted to Mac OS Extended and not APFS so it won't install.

How can I format the drive to APFS and reinstall Mojave BUT keep all of my files etc?
I suspect it's a full restore from boot and then restore all files using Time Machine - has anyone else had to do this?

Thanks.

What year is your MBP (I'm trying to find out if your MBP is officially supported)?

I know of no way to run the full Mojave installer app to install your original 10.14.2 without it automatically converting from HFS+ to APFS (unless you cloned a Mojave installation to a HFS+ disk). I think we are missing some information.

Are you sure you have dowloaded the full Mojave 10.14.4 installer app to your Applications folder (it should be over 6 GB)? What version is the Mojave installation app?
