Hey everyone -

Are any of you having this issue with the latest version of Mojave B4? My FaceTime camera has all of a sudden stopped working and simply says "camera not connected" in most of the applications.

You all seeing this too?

mine is also like that since I installed beta 4, all system apps (FaceTime, PhotoBooth, etc) are not getting camera / microphone access. My camera does work correctly with third party apps like Skype though.

It looks like the mechanism allowing access to camera & microphone is not working for the Apple apps. Third party apps get an authorisation popup and after allowing access they work...

Yea I'm noticing that as well.. Siri isn't working for me either, wondering if it's something similar....

It really looks like Apple is denying its own apps access to cameras, microphones, etc. Third part apps get the Allow popups for this but their own apps don't.

Same. Oddly though, this is the only forum where I have seen others experiencing the same bug. Searched Twitter and did not really see any related comments.

I have the same problem, since beta 4 on my mac pro 2013, I've not webcam detected, have you a solution?

Exactly the same for me (on my Macbook Pro 2017 15" TouchBar)
No way with Facetime, but OK with Skype, Webex, Zoom ...
Works fine on my iMac (end 2013)
Beta 4 has huge improvments on the iMac, but still many issues on MacBook, need for a hard reboot many times a day, and crash always after deep sleep (next launch is starting from scratch)
