Hi all,

I'm at my wits end with the stupid bug that Apple introduced around March where FCP/iMovie won't launch if you're using a laptop with an external monitor in closed lid mode.

Can someone with the Mojave Beta installed and a 2011/2012 era MBP put their machine into closed lid mode and try and launch iMovie?

If it works i'll install the beta.

Thanks

Sorry, if it only applies on 2012 Macbook I don't have an answer.

I have just tried iMovie on my 2012 retina mcbpro connected via hdmi to external monitor (clamshell) and it works fine. Gave me an error saying that the software need to be updated work work with this OS, but works otherwise.
