Mojave bug: AirPlay prevents id3 tags editing in mp3 files (especially adding album art)

Hello!

Just noticed, that since I updated my iMac to Mojave, I have problem with editing the id3 tags in iTunes: album art is not saved, other tags suddenly reverts to the previous values etc...

Today I discovered, that this happens only if I'm editing id3 tags while music currently playing in iTunes and AirPlay is enabled (I'm transmitting the music to other room using Airport Express). If I disable AirPlay, the id3 tags editing is successful.

Is there anybody who is experiencing similar issues? Try to disable AirPlay and see if this solves the problem.

After some investigations on this topic I have found, that enabling AirPlay in iTunes disables (ignores) most of the track properties: volume adjust, adding album art, changing id3 tags etc. So the problem is much worse, than I thought.
