Hey!

So, against my better judgement I decided to try to install OSX Mojave today. Surprise surprise, it broke my computer. Wondering if anyone else has this issue and/or has found a fix other than uninstalling.

1. Install Mojave
2, Start up computer, log in.
3. When applications attempt to start (including Little Snitch, Speedify VPN, etc.) watch them all crash miserably with the new MacOS.
4. Find that the system is entirely frozen (excluding the mouse) and be unable to force quit any and all other applications, close any windows, or allow the computer time to figure it’s **** out

Booted into Recovery Mode and ran First Aid, no problems were found.

I then booted into Safe Mode, disabled all login items (that I could from System Preferences, which admittedly isn’t everything) and that did seem to get me in.

Did anyone else have this issue?

Little Snitch needs to interface with the OS at low levels. It was foolish of you to try to run it on a new OS.

Its not just Little Snitch, I have had the very same symptom while running a Xcode 10 beta debug session on a machine.

Yeah for me it actually wasn’t Little Snitch that was causing the issues either. It still runs (admittedly without working) and isn’t causing the crash.

Definitely something else that’s going on.
