I totally forgot Mojave was launching today, but I'm running into an issue with the installer crashing. Installed fine on a 2017 MBP, but on my late 2013 iMac 27" (non-Retina) it's not working. The "Install macOS Mojave" window appears, I click through the prompts and select Macintosh HD to install it there, and - it freezes. It looks like it takes the rest of Finder with it, if I open up something like Notification Center, Force Quit, or mouse over the dock, that just stays on the screen and I can't interact with it. I've tried three times now, I was hoping it would eventually throw an error or something but it looks like Finder is frozen. Installing from HS.

Anyone else running into this?

Same problem here.
iMac (27-inch, Late 2013) non-Retina

Have to restart Imac with power button

I restart with the power button, but it doesn't help. I've tried a few times.

Looks like there might be issues with Fusion drives, so I'll hold off until those are fixed.

Seems like I was too impatient , gave it time overnight and had a restart screen in the morning.
An hour later Mojave was installed.

My bad, I misread your original post. Just tried the same thing and got the same results, it’s installing now. Thanks for the tip!
