After struggling with Catalina, I was able to get success with using Mojave on this old Mac. First, I have a 1Tb SSD, 6GB memory and a OSXWiFi - iMac 2007 iMac 2008 Broadcom BCM94360CD - 802.11 A/B/G/N/AC Bluetooth 4.0 airport card installed. I installed the Intel Core 2 Duo T9500. The graphics card is the native ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB. Watch unlock, airdrop and handoff all work well. The system is highly useable.
Under Catalina Apple TV worked superbly. Youtube and Quicktime videos run flawlessly and smooth. Internet downloads are respectfully quick.
Under Catalina, watch unlock didn't work and I could not get iMovie and Microsoft Teams to work. Under Mojave, Teams works perfectly but iMovie, although it does load and works well, the preview screen is black. I have done all sorts of different image types.
What do I need to do?
