So I have this weird bug.

When I print a page (A4), if I don't change any setting, everything is fine.
If I try to put quality as "fast" to save ink, the printing is (very) zoomed, so it can go straight to the trash.
I have a Canon Pixma ip100, I downloaded the latest drivers from Canon website, they are written "mojave compatible", with no effect.

I had a bit similar problems on High Sierra.
Sometimes, the "printer features" menu appeared like that in the printing options, with a weird layout. When this happened, the printing was zoomed. My workaround was to export as a pdf and print from Preview, then it always worked.

Now in Mojave, the "printer features" always appears with this weird layout, and the only workaround is not to change anything.

Before, instead of printer features, the menu was showing "normally" as other options , like "quality & media" etc.
Don't know if this is clear.

Any idea?

I know this is an old post, but I'm having the same problem. Only I'm trying to use "fine" or "high" quality and it zooms out! I never know if something will print half sized or even quarter sized - and usually if I'm printing high quality, I'm doing it on cardstock so wasting sheets adds up. I print tests on regular paper, but it must somehow end up with slightly different settings between the test printing and the real printing because even that isn't always a guarantee.

I also can't get it to print grayscale from any program that uses the new (and absolutely terrible) Printer Features menu - but luckily for my color ink cartridges, Firefox does not use this, so I can manage to print in grayscale from there. But weirdly, I still have the zoom in/out problem! Even without the printer features menu!

Hi,

I never found the workaround to this problem. But, it solved itself when I changed for Catalina :)
