Hi community! Not been on here for a while. So log in fact I’ve forgotten my email and username so had to create a new one!
I have a late 2013 27” iMac 3.5 i7 32gb of ram and gtx780m
I use my Mac for Logic. I’ve used logic 9 for many years. I’ve always kept my Mac up to date with new OS X releases up until logic 9 was no longer supported. I’ve never had any issues with the Mac what so ever. I recently decided to purchase logic x and updated to Mojave. Seems it was a mistake
While on a whole the Mac has no major issues in performance it seems to suffer from random slow downs and spinning balls. It’s most frustrating. I’ve tried a few ‘fixes’ but nothing has improved the issues. Doesn’t seem to be anything in particular that causes it. Sometimes it’s opening a program or a finder window. Sometimes it’s quickly flicking through tabs in finder or safari. While my Mac is getting on a little bit the 3.5 i7 and 32gb of ram should have more than enough power to not suffer from performance issues while simply using the gui on day to day tasks?
Any ideas?
