Momentus XT in 2006 MBP

I have a CD2 2.33ghz MBP from 2006, will the 500gb Momentus XT run in it without needing to be jumpered?

MBP has the Intel ICH7-M AHCI sata controller.

It will work though the SATA 1.5Gb/s interface in your MBP may bottleneck it by little.

I recently installed one of these in my wife's 2.0 SR MB. Noticeably quicker, even quicker than my daughter's 2.2 SR blackbook with 7200 rpm hd.

Thats great, as long as it will work for now I can live with it running at 1.5Gbps till I upgrade the MBP.
