Momentus XT with Early 2008 MBP? (Penryn)

Was going to pick up a new GFX card for my friend tomorrow, thinking of getting an upgrade for my HDD in the mean time.

Does anyone know if the Momentus XT has any problems with the early 2008 MBP?

If it's SATA compatible, it ought to work fine.

You WILL want to ensure you have firmware SD25 installed. Seagate has a bootable disc image from their website (since you probably don't want to run the firmware updater from within Windows ): http://seagate.custkb.com/seagate/crm/selfservice/search.jsp?DocId=215451
