Hey guys

Just a money saving tip if you're into that sort of thing.
If you have AMEX card, use your app and look for the Amex deals. Sync your card to the staples and or best buy deals.
Spend $250 or more at best buy and get $25 statement credit.

So that's $479-$25 for an ipad air.
Not bad!

I activated this deal after I got the iPad IMHO pe it still credits.

Dammit this would have been good to know yesterday before I bought my iPad. Oh well :(

Or get the Amex that gives you 6% cash back at stores including best buy and apple

If you use a discover cash rewards card the savings stack. I got 5% through shop discover (ordered on apple.com for in store pickup) which stacks with 5% cashback on online purchases. 10% isn't bad at all.

I went with an online/mailorder co. - has Air for $479, 0 tax, free ship. No Discover 5% cause they were only doing phone orders. still happy with the total... saved about $60. but now I'm considering a Tmo Air instead...

I used to have a blue cash back from Amex. It's 3% cash back on dept stores. 6% is for supermarkets

Are you sure you got the Shop Discover 5%? The site says the iPad Air is excluded.

Then they've updated the site in the last couple days. On Friday/Saturday it only claimed to exclude the 5s.

Edit: Looks like BestBuy, Target, and Walmart.com are all 5% on ShopDiscover and don't list an exclusion for the ipad.

You can save 5% purchasing at Target and using their Red Card. I haven't checked to see what they are selling them for yet.

Used the AMEX offer and expecting a $25 credit on my statement in a few weeks, for the iPad mini 16gb wifi @ Best Buy
not bad!

I'm sure target will run the Mini for $379 and a $50 gift card or something on black friday. Except i'm not standing in line for that, no way!

Can confirm the Shop Discover 5% works at Best Buy. Just got the email confirming my $30 coming back from my 32gb Air.
