Money to spare

i am in need of a very light and portable computer to take with me while traveling, on weekends, and for taking notes when i go to my computer courses, i was thinking either MBA or an iPad, what do u guys think?when are the new MB airs coming out? i only have around 900, thanks alot

An iPad is not even close to an Air ... The Air is a real computer ... the iPad is a Tablet

You will not see a new Air for about 6 months at best
