I have a 2014 base MBA 11" and want to get a proper, high res monitor with built in speakers and the ability to have it in both portrait and landscape mode, have hdmi and usb 3 connectivity. Mainly used for writing, I need sharp text using Word, as close to "retina" quality as possible. I don't want to spend more than $500. Please offer some suggestions. TIA!
