Monitor compatibility with Mac Pro

Does anyone know of any monitors that are cost-effective that will work well with a mac pro? I want to ditch the apple monitor, get a new one and hopefully pocket a little extra cash. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any monitor with a DVI port will work, just find whatever is in your price range.

Depends on the GPU you have but basically, any monitor will work because you can get DVI to VGA and DVI to HDMI etc adapters plus most 3rd party monitors have several inputs
