I am currently using an old MacBook air, and I use ot connected to a Dell U2414H monitor. I am planning to get a new Air (2020), but the port I currently use does not exist on the new Air (sheesh - they eliminated so many ports I use regularly). Is there a way to use the new Air with that Monitor? I have 2 of them, as I use the laptop in 2 places, and like the external monitor.
It looks like the Monitor can connect via DP, VGA or DVI .

The 2020 Air has USB-C including DisplayPort Alternate Mode. So… a USB-C to DisplayPort cable is what you need. Done. :)
