hey - sorry if this is a basic question, i did google it but am still confused...
i've got a 2012 mac pro with a 27" monitor which i use for music production. when the new MP comes out i'll get one.
I'd like to upgrade my monitor now to one that will work with my current mac (ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB graphics, 2 mini display and one dual-link DVI) but that will also work with the new ones when they come out (AMDRadeon pro 580x - 2x cdmi and 4xDisplayPort)
please would someone with knowledge in that area tell me what connectivity a monitor needs to have, or if they'll just plug and play easily!
