I’ve got an Early 2015 MacBook w/ 12” screen and rarely use it so hate to upgrade. But I need a larger screen.

I have an LG 29UB55 Ultrawide that I use for work. It’s hooked up through DisplayPort to my work PC but I don’t mind just swapping cables when I need to

Will this old MacBook run this display ok? Will it run it at native resolution? What is my best way to connect it? What adapters/cables should I use?

Thanks for any help with what might be simple

It will run at native resolution. DisplayPort is preferred for use with macOS, so a USB-C to DisplayPort cable is what you need.

Thank you

Any recommendations on a cable/adapter that will let me charge at the same time?
