when i hook up my monitor up for dual display, it has the option of 60 or 75 hz. Which should i use? They both look the same, just not quite sure of what the different settings do.

Is it a CRT or LCD - if you have a CRT at 60 and have the lights on in the room, you'll notice flickering - since the screen refresh rate is the same as the frequency of the AC power in the bulbs. Use 75 in that case.

its a samsung lcd

Does't matter then, they don't refresh. You should try hooking it up digitally. Set it to 75 anyways, the higher the better.

I dont know why but on my LG 701S CRT 17" when I run 1280X1024 at 60hz its clear but I hate the flicker but when I run at 75hz everything seems blurry, anyone know why?
