That there big London
Hi

I want to buy a monitor for my wife, so she can use it with her 1.83GHz C2D MacBook (which is still running well). Basically, a Dell U2211H would fit the bill perfectly, but I am concerned after reading this thread. We need something that 'just works'.

Here are our requirements:
  • 20" ish. Don't want to go much bigger than that, as space is a bit limited.
  • 'Full HD' resolution (eg, 1920 x 1080) would be nice.
  • Must work with MiniDVI on MacBook, but for future-proofing, must also work with MiniDisplayPort and Thunderbolt.
  • Built-in USB hub would be a bonus.
  • Price under £250.
  • Not massively fussy about colour accuracy. It's just for Web / MS Office / Skype, etc.

Oh, and we're in the UK.

Any suggestions would be very well received.

Cheers
SL
