Monitor profile does not stick

Hello,

I have an intel based imac on Tiger. One admin account and 3 standard user accounts.

I have calibrated my monitor and it works fine as long as I do not switch accounts. If I do switch to a standard user and then back to the admin account the monitor profile jumps to "Generic RGB". It does not use the calibrated monitor profile.

In addition I can not not just change it back it System Preferences. I just get a "ping" when I click on the calibrated profile. I actually have to restart the computer and then everything works fine again.

Any advice would be welcome.
