I profile my monitor using an Eye-One Display-2 calibrator. I set up the calibration, give it a 2.2 gamma and everything seems to work fine. My profile shows up in the Displays control panel.
I work along and everything seems fine. But when I log out, and then log right back in, the display seem darker. I go into the control panel and everything is still set to my profile. My brightness hasn't changed, nor am I fooling around with the contrast controls.
Could it be possible that during the course of the day my monitor get's switched to the normal iMac profile (with the 1.8 gamma) and I'm not even noticing it unless I log out and back in again?
Just seems weird. Anyone heard of this or have it happen to them?
BTW, I'm on a 24" iMac
