Hi,
Is there anyone who has this monitor? The reviews I've read indicate it generally out performs the Apple CD and the Dell 30". I'm seriously considering it and if anyone has any input, I'd appreciate it.

Uses: 1)Home office 2)media center 3)gaming

At the moment, I'm using the stock 7300gt. I assume the 7300 will run it as long as I'm not playing games, correct? If I decided that I want to upgrade, would I just upgrade to the x1900? Should I get the $400 kit off the apple website or buy from somewhere else.

Not much experience with the samsung, but all 3 30" options look pretty good when i've inspected them.

The 7300gt will run it fine, along with (up to) another 1920x1200 monitor, but as expected, gaming wouldn't be good.

the only feasible upgrade option at this point is the 1900, however it's such old tech at this point that you may as well just deal with lousy gaming for a while and wait for new graphics options from apple.

That said, if you're doing your gaming in windows on boot camp, you can get any card and use it only in windows (requires switching cables each time of course). If gaming is truly 3rd on your list, just wait and if nothing else the 1900 will get cheaper.
