Monitor Samsung

I have a 2 year old Samsung Syncmaster 2032 monitor that I have been hooking up with my macbook pro 5,1 unibody through a mini Display to VGA adaptor.
Recently, when I connected the monitor, it would flash blue like it used to but the the connection would drop and the monitor would stop working. Replugging the monitor would result in the same thing.

Monitor Works fine with out desktop and my dads Lenovo ThinkPad so the problem is either my adaptor or the computer.

Help would be appreciated.

Possibly the adapter bit the dust. Rare, but possible seeing as there is a chip to convert digital to analog.

uh-oh, do these things come with a warranty?
Ive lost the documents that it comes with but its definitely less than a year old. Will apple replace it?

Possibly. You need to ensure that it is defective first if that's the case.

The adaptor doesn't seem to have a SN
