monitor spanning on new eMacs

After seeing the new eMacs with the Radeon 7500 and remembering the the newer iBooks also have the same, I was wondering if the monitor spanning hack would work on the new eMacs as well as the 17" iMacs and iBooks?

Who would dare sacrifice their brand new eMac to take on this daunting task?

Maybe the 7500 Mobility chip in the iBooks is different from the 7500 desktop chip, it wouldn't surprise me.
