I'm debating a third monitor after finding a second one so usefull.
Currently I have a 23" Cinema Display as my first display, and then an old 1280x1024 19" IBM Display as the second. Each one is plugged into a seperate DVI port.
I *thought* that the ATI 1900XL was a dual DVI out card. Meaning there are 4 DVI connections or 2 Dual-DVI connections, and there was some kind of 'splitter' that would take it from Dual DVI to Single DVI.
Is that the case? or to get my third monitor to work I'd need a new video card?
if so, could I upgrade my 'main' adapter to the newer faster card that came out recently and use the ATI for the third monitor?
Keep in mind I'm just looking for someplace to toss mail/newsgator/etc while I work on photos etc. I'm not expecting anything amazing out of the extra monitors.
