I was wondering if anyone else had run into this. I have a 20 inch ViewSonic connected to the DVI port on my Mac Pros 4770. It is on the right (physically) and is set to my main display). I also have a HOP LD4700 connected to the middle (the one next to the DVI) port vias a mini display to HDMI adapter. It is physically positioned on the left. A few times, when the monitors power back up (the displays have been shut down in the energy preferences, but the computer has not gone to sleep) the application windows have rearranged themselves on the monitors, but the main monitor (the one with the menu bar and dock) has remained the same.
Is there something about my setup that is wrong? Should the monitors be connected differently?
