iPod touch Monkey Ball Frustrations

Okay, so as if I'm not already frustrated enough at Super Monkey Ball because I keep falling off the damn edge now it likes to crash on me. As a competitive gamer this is extremely frustrating. I just start cussing out loud at my fricken iPod. $10 for the update and $10 for the game and it keeps fricken crashing. Go figure, right?

Many things keep crashing. Safari is the worst. I'll be looking at a page, it'll crash, I'll reopen Safari and it'll take forever to reload the damn page that I was JUST looking at. What the hell is up with this buggy software?

Apple needs to get off their high ass horse and fix the huge ass mess that they've made.

I had higher expectations than this.

Yikes, quite a vent! :eek:

However, I do understand your frustration. When you pay for something, especially a reputable company like Apple, you want it to work.

And falling off the edge in MonkeyBall makes me want to punch through a wall.
 
I havent purchased SMB yet but was wondering if it was like iPint where you have to move your iPod side to side/up & down to control the pint of beer. Does it work the same way for SMB? thanks

You do realize that Super Monkey Ball crashing is probably not apple's fault. Give it some time. Updates will come along and I'm sure all will be well in a few weeks. I love my iPod touch. Does way way more than my friend's Zune!!

Twice, I have nearly snapped my iPod in frustration. Hundreds of times I have switched to dear old Trism to vent my anger. But wait until World 2, now that is impossible. I have paid $13.00 for SMB and want an update to lower the tilt sensitivity, or at least include a setting for Time and Tilt Sensitivity to help us "less patient" players make it through the session ok. :D:D:D

i dont like gaming on iPt/iPhone.. my phone gets all sweaty :eek::rolleyes:

i agree with SMB, A bit too sensitive at the moment

soo.... you stop touching yourself, and then start again, and it makes SMB work again? without restarting your iPod touch hows that work?

it is an update to help with sensitivity, and probably stablity
 
EA has already said that the next update will improve sensitivity (user adjustable maybe) etc..

I just hope they allow you to save the game too...
 
I love the name of this thread! I think that ALL frustrations are Monkey Ball Frustrations.

I know its hard, but I think that level 1.7 was the worst of them all. After that, it gets a little easier, but that might just be me. :eek:

I like the game alot. Except on bumpy roads.

Actually it's Sega, not EA. I look forward to the update. I hope they both improve sensitivity and allow us to calibrate the neutral position.

Dude, don't get me started on 1.7. It nearly ruined my life.
 
I can not believe how sensitive SMB is. They need to dial down the sensitivity a bit. I too keep falling off the edge.:(
