Has anyone found a way to put  on to the watch face? I have tried .apl but it doesn't work.

Turns out you can totally do it.

Thanks for the idea

Wait how did you do that?

If you have a mac, use alt+shift+k which will type an . Email it to yourself and open the email on the iPhone. Copy this and set up a keyboard shortcut on your iPhone. I use "a p" (without the space).

Then, type this in the settings of the  Watch app.

Awesome - thanks!

Just copy it from here while you are on iPhone, open the Apple Watch companion app ob the iPhone, go to the clock, tap on Monogram and paste the :apple: there.

Shortcuts can't be less than 2 characters so how do you do it?
EDIT: Done, thanks.
