so i downloaded monolingual in an attempt to free up some ssd space. i deleted all languages except for english. after doing more reading i noticed many people are saying to keep english (united states) as well. well i didn't keep it and don't currently see any problems...am i ok? will something pop up down the road? just curious what you guys think

Hopefully you'll be fine, but be aware that some apps may have problems if certain languages are deleted. The good news is that you can always reinstall an app if you need to.

Thanks. If I did mess something up would it be obviouse? I have opened a ton of apps with no I'll effects noticed. What should I be looking for?

Also, any issues with lion itself that could arise? I figure that would be much more obvious.

I doubt you'd have issues with Lion. If you have problems with apps, menus may not open at all or appear blank or garbled, other GUI elements may not appear properly or at all, or any number of possibilities.
