Monoprice Battery Backup Problem

Now im sure some of you have this battery. http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10831&cs_id=1083110&p_id=5480&seq=1&format=2

I just got one, but my phone stops charging about 10 seconds after I plug the battery in. Has this happened to anyone else? I may have to contact monoprice for a new one but I just want to make sure this is / isnt a chronic problem.

I got the exact same one and had no problems at all.
Did u test it out on another iPhone/iPod or ipodtouch?
Maybe u got a defective one, contact monoprice. They'll take care of it quick.

I just got my 2nd one and I thibnk its doing the exact same thing. Maybe its time for a refund...

I contacted a rep. They said "oh weve been having problems with those." Now they are just going to refund my money. If I hear of it getting fixed, ill buy again.

I too ordered this exact battery and it didn't work on my iPhone 3GS. Then I replaced it with another and it didn't work either. I received the 2nd one several days ago so either their stock is still bad, or they're not compatible with jailbroken iPhones, of which mine is.

It's really too bad, as I had high hopes for this battery pack. If it would only work I'd be really happy.

Works with my jb 3GS.
But I got it a while ago. Sounds like they got a defective batch.
They should at least test them before shipping.

had problems with the first battery back in Feb... would stop charging after a while. They sent me a new one which I got this week, saaaaame problem! gonna ask them to send me another one and to test it before they do!
