Hi Macrumors,

I was just wondering if anyone has the Monster Dr DreTour with ControlTalk™ High Definition In-Ear Headphones.

What the sound qualitiy like and does the remote work with the iphone 3G.

If you are a user of those in ear by monster please post your comments and pros and cons.

I'm thinking of getting those for the sound and the looks.

Thanks

Don't buy anything from Monster (Monster Cable), Bose, or similar companies. You're paying for marketing and can get similar quality for a fraction of the price.

Note: Monster and Bose products have acceptable sound quality (they don't sound "bad"), but you can get equal or better quality for a fraction of the price.

Take a look at Klipsch, Shure, Sennheiser, Koss, Ultimate Ears, Etymotic, and others instead. You'll be very glad you did.

Avoid Monster, Bose, Sony, Panasonic, and anything sold at stores such as Wal-mart, Radio Shack, or Best Buy.

I agree with everything you said, besides the Sony part. Sony makes some nice high-end headphones...
