Hi,

At the Apple Store today, when they were applying the Power Support film to my 3GS, the Apple rep used iKlear to clean off my 3GS screen before applying.

First, I didn't realize that you should use cleaners like that on the 3GS. Is that normal?

Second, is Monster ScreenClean a safe alternative to iKlear for the 3GS? I have some Monster at home and that way I wouldn't need to go out and buy iKlear.

Thanks.

I've been using lens wipes from walmart for over a year on my iphones, they are alcohol based and do an excellent job getting fingerprints, oil, or anything else off the phone, I'm a little skeptical though with the new 3gs and it's special screen, but for the regular 3g the lens wipes work great.

There is absolutely no damage to my iphone after using these wipes several times a week for over a year, but again 3gs might be different.
