Could this ever happen? It seems really far fetched, but if that really does happen this June I will be verrry happy purchasing my slim Macbook Pro for college!

If the Montevina motherboard is smaller, then I could see this design being possible. Not sure I'd like the tapered edges on a 15"er though. The current MBP is "slippery" enough as it is.

could care less bout case redesign. I think the new MBP will have esata & blue ray drive. Maybe a bigger track pad like the MBA.

I don't see why Apple would do that. If anything I'd have expected them to release the Air as a flattened MBP as a 13-inch.

I don't think that Apple will make the entire MacBook line super-thin, but I do think that for consistency, they'll adopt Air-styling across the whole range, and perhaps thin them down a little, as rumored by Apple Insider. not that i'm bothered becasue i recently purchased an mbp but i hope they dont use black keys. it just doesn't suit the design at all.
