So far, since launch, there has been a firmware update roughly every month. Do you think Apple are likely to continue updates at this pace. If so, there should be another due in about two weeks
 
Unlikely

The updates so far have beem mainly out of necessity and damage control.

Even the 2.1 didn't include the new push notification it was meant to ....

Once they get 2.2 or whatever with push i think things should slow down and we'll only get functionality releases at a less frequent pace
 
^^ Agreed, unlikely.

Most updates (2.0.1, 2.0.2, 2.1) have been bug fixes, and it's only because the iPhone was (sort of) just released. Once bug fixes have been addressed updates will slow dramatically.
