I've been having an odd issue with my wireless signal on my MBP recently. My room is fairly far from the modem/router in my house, and when I am there, sometimes webpages will cease to load, despite having 2 or 3 bars of wireless signal and an active IP. sometimes the signal will dorp to 1 bar. web browsers just show a blank screen and don't display the "You are not connected to the internet" message. When I am closer, I have no issue.
I have never had problems in my room before a few days ago, and always having a 3 bar signal.
Here is some output from my Console, and I was hoping someone could let me know what the problem is. I'm suspecting it may be a corrupt preference file or something... I've tried removing com.apple.airport.preferences.plist already with no luck, but are there other files or suggestions?
nothing new has been added in the house in terms of wireless electronics, and I've tried changing the wireless channel from 11 to 1 to 6 to 4 to 8, all to no avail...
